      Nestled among luscious foliage, the cosy treehouse makes us feel like we’re privy to a secret - that we’ve found Phuket’s hidden treasure and a much coveted hideout spot. Whether it’s your pitstop en route to the Big Buddha or a respite after battling the tourist crowds at the mountain peak, Mountain Breeze makes for the perfect spot to enjoy a much needed break from the sweltering heat, savour some delicious grub, and take in gorgeous views of the picturesque seaside city. Sounds too much like a tourist trap? The mouthwatering dishes here present resounding proof against that claim.

      As you pore over the 25-page menu, we reckon that some direction might be useful. For local dishes, classic options such as the Khao ob Subparoad (pineapple fried rice) and Massaman Curry are well-executed, but venture out and lesser known dishes such as the Choo Chee Pla Rad Kao (stir-fried fish fillet with thick curry paste served with rice) and the Yam Kai Dow, a Thai favourite featuring fried eggs minced pork, seafood, and onions and a spicy lime dressing to top, will surely impress as well.

      For those craving a bit of home, pizzas here are impeccable, with the house signature, Pizza Mountain Breeze, topped with generous portions of tomato, tuna, onions, mushroom, black olives, green pepper, mozzarella cheese, and an egg, being our personal favourite. Meat lovers would enjoy the Lamb Shank as well as the Pork Chop, both irresistibly tender and complete with that fall off the bone goodness.
