Settimo Cielo, which translates to Seventh Heaven in Italian, is the fabulous Italian restaurant, located at the entrance of the luxurious The Layar Designer Villas and Spa. Settimo Cielo pulls lovers of great food into its pulsing vibe and chic interior.

The grazing breakfast, including free flow Bloody Mary and drinks, is a fantastic deal!

Lunch at Settimo Cielo is adventurous yet very accessible. Grazing sets are packed with delicacies like yellow fin tuna crudo, goat cheese stuffed zucchini flower and arancini of beef ragu with parmesan dusted aioli. For those liking a longer lunch, indulge in the ‘Grazing’ menu offering an unlimited choice of dishes from the menu, which are easily paired with a number of superb wines, handpicked for their quality, and available at reasonable prices.

Dinner is more complex with house made goat cheese ricotta tortelloni; parmesan cheese, toasted almonds rucola, sage that is a showstopper. The pappardelle with hand picked crabmeat, fennel, dill, pecorino roasted cherry tomato and rucola pesto is a close second. Fancy a little cry? Then try the baked chocolate mouse, which is an emotional experience dressed with candied hazelnuts and salted caramel. The rosemary and olive oil panna cotta will render the table speechless.

Settimo Cielo is a superb addition to Bali’s electrifying culinary scene. The interior drips urban cool with concrete block walls softened by beautiful honed Italian marble and lighting from white shades worthy of appearing on Valentino’s catwalk.
