    Kilo Kitchen, a household name in Singapore and Bali, finally opens its doors to the people of Jakarta. Located in the bustling Senopati area along 16 Jalan Gunawarman, Kilo Kitchen is a comforting space where food, music and lifestyle melds. A stylish space decorated with a modern industrial touch, Kilo is a restaurant and lounge that offers a quick escape from the busyness of the city.

    Newly opened in December 2018, Kilo has already impressed the Jakarta crowd with their impeccable food. The menu is a delightful mash-up of cuisines from all over the world. Inspired by Italian, Japanese and Indonesia cuisines, the chef has curated a menu to satisfy your tastebuds. A favourite in the menu is the squid ink rice - a mouthwatering combination of crispy baby squid and salmon roe. The ebiko cream pasta is another dish worth noting, the balanced taste of the cream is not too overpowering that it compliments the juicy prawns. The Babi Hutan Laksa, only found in the Jakarta menu, is a combination of Japanese ramen noodles and Indonesian grilled pork. Make sure you order the classic Kilo dish - The Beef Tongue Tacos that is accompanied by apple miso slaw, roasted jalapeños, and garlic butter.

    The name Kilo comes from the phonetic name of the half-blue, half-yellow nautical flag for ‘K’, which signals the message, “We wish to communicate with you.” Kilo aims to be a place that feels like home for people from all different walks and circles of life. This makes Kilo a comfortable spot to lounge and chill out with your buddies. With a selection of wine and handcrafted cocktails to choose from, you’ll have a fun time deciding your drink for the night.
