      This is one of the most chic dining options along the coast, a restaurant with charming modern design that overlooks a practically 360 degree view over the Andaman Sea. The kitchen, puts local ingredients to good use with a selection of traditional Thai dishes.

      Kick off with some Thai appetizers like Satay Ruam Mit, a selection of beef, chicken, and pork satay served with peanut sauce and sweet-sour dip. Or Tord Mun Pla Gai, lovely tender fish-cakes with a spicy chili and lime dip while the Pad Thai Goong, a smoky fry-up of rice noodles, shrimp, eggs, and peanuts, is the ultimate Thai beach-food. Paresa also offers Western fare, ranging from tapas like Gambas al Ajillo and Oysters to international favourites such as Spaghetti Bolognese and Lobster Rice.

      If you’ve room for dessert, save it for the Tub Tim Krob, jeweled “red rubies” of water chestnut served in coconut milk. There’s also Tiramisu and Creme Brulee too. This is Thai and Western food at its finest, served by one of the most beautiful views the country has to offer. (May 2019)
