      About

      Located beside the main swimming pool at Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort, the Pool Bar is the place to gather and socialize, featuring an open-air terrace with comfortable sofas, a sunken bar area with relaxed lounge-style seating and an undercover seating area with lounge chairs and tables for casual dining. The tranquil setting surrounded by lush flora and fauna opens on to the glistening larger than Olympic size swimming pool that dominates the view, conjuring up laid back summer vibes to while away a sunny afternoon.

      Sustainably sourced, premium products underpin an extensive menu of authentic local and International comfort foods where the emphasis is on light and refreshing food and beverages to energize and captivate the senses. Presenting a respectful nod to the island's culinary traditions, our chefs prepare local dishes that take diners on a flavorsome journey of the ethnic specialties, including a range of spicy Thai salads such as "Som tum", a spicy green papaya salad, "Yam Poo Nim" mouthwatering soft shell crab with green mango and "Yam som o”, a sharp and invigorating Pomelo salad with chicken and prawn.

      While the relaxed setting overlooking the Andaman Sea perfectly complements the authentic Thai cuisine, a substantial variety of western comfort foods are on offer to give a more international flavor to proceedings. A sandwich board comprising simple favorites such as Tuna and avocado on brown bread or a lightly toasted club sandwich join imaginative specialties such as onion focaccia with speck ham, brie cheese, roasted capsicum and basil pesto or a chicken and chickpea wrap with romaine lettuce, Rucola, and salsa verde. To accompany these lighter pool side snacks, our chefs have created a heartier menu of global dishes to serve up a familiar taste of home with pizzas, pastas, salads, burgers and steaks.

      The Pool Bar is the place to meet and socialize al fresco at any time of the day, serving refreshing seasonal fruit juices, blends and local iced teas, ideal for the tropical environment. As the dramatic dusk colors permeate the sky, relax by the pool with a chilled glass of wine, local craft beer or refreshing cocktail as the sun makes its final descent beyond the horizon.
