    About

    Started in 1978, Beng Hiang Restaurant has since established itself as one of the best Hokkien restaurants in Singapore. The interior's simple, homely decor is a nod to the type of fare served here, with unpretentious and hearty Hokkien dishes done right.

    The piping hot soups are sure to start your meal on the right note, with creations like Fish Maw with Crabmeat and Stewed Black Chicken Herbal Soup. Continue the feasting with a variety of meat, seafood, vegetables, and rice and noodle dishes. Don’t miss traditional Hokkien favourites such as Oyster Omelette, Kong Ba Bao (savoury braised brisket in a steamed bun), and Suckling Pig.

    The Hokkien Mee is a must-try too, with springy noodles and fresh seafood coated in a generous portion of smoky and umami gravy. There are even premium selections such as Braised Whole Abalone and Drunken Lobster for that special occasion.
