    Tucked away in Greenwood Avenue, Farangse is the go-to for comfort French food tinged with a Thai flair. Start the meal on a refreshing note with dishes such as tuna ceviche dressed in a zesty calamansi vinaigrette. If you want something more, go all out for indulgent French classics like the Burgundy Escargots Baked in Garlic Herb Butter, or Pan-Seared Foie Gras With Apple Chutney and Blinis.

    Meat-lovers are in for a treat at Farangse, which leans towards a beef-centric menu. Tuck into the Braised Beef Cheek with Red Wine and Mushrooms, a flavourful dish where the meat is simmered in a rich wine sauce until fork-tender and paired with earthy mushrooms, for a treat. Steaks are also done well in this French-Issan outfit, with crowd favourites such as grass-fed beef striploin and tenderloin char-grilled to perfection and served with a dollop of silky mash. Another favourite is the grilled iberico pork, dressed in lashings of honey and sweet roasted vegetables on the side. Be sure to save some space for dessert as well - the warm apple tart with a scoop of house-made vanilla ice cream is reminiscent of grandma’s cooking.
