    Step into Sarnies and one of the first things you’ll notice is the cool, relaxed vibe characteristic of cafés in Melbourne. Opened by Aussie Ben Lee a while back, this trendy establishment has made a name for itself as the place to go for delicious, quality café nosh. Visitors are especially fond of its sandwiches on weekdays, which is no surprise considering the name ‘Sarnies’ is a slang term for sandwich! Little jokes aside though, Sarnies has proven to have as much substance as it has style, and that’s saying quite a bit; the café has received nominations by City Nomads for Best Coffee Roasters and Best Value Restaurant in Singapore, and has been featured in the Singapore Lonely Planet Guide. That’s gotta mean something!

    Looking past the accolades straight to the food and drink, coffee addicts will fall in love with the quality brews served here. With coffee beans that are meticulously roasted by a team of talented baristas, and with all coffees made with a double ristretto for more intense flavour, Sarnies firmly establishes itself as the place to go for your caffeine fix. And as for the food, you definitely wouldn’t go wrong with the brunch options, but the dinner menu offers a plethora of mouthwatering delights.
