    Kazoku means "family" in Japanese, and that's what this casual eatery is all about. Promising a homely dining experience for all guests, it offers a unique mix of cuisines — local, Western, Filipino and Chinese — with its international team of chefs.

    The folks here proudly declare their Laksa as their best-selling dish, a spicy and creamy bowl of Singapore Laksa with a generous serving of grilled prawns. Does it rank among Singapore's best laksas? Go try it for yourself and give us your verdict.

    For something more adventurous, opt for the Filipino speciality, Beef Kaldereta, where tender beef brisket is braised in a savoury coconut cream and peanut butter sauce. Also good is the Braised Chicken Leg Asado, a tangy dish of chicken in tomato sauce and lime. If you're just feeling peckish, the Xiao Long Bao and Har Cheong Gai make for a great teatime snack.
