    Named after the Japanese word for “respect”, this casual izakaya pays homage to the cuisine of Southwest Japan, which is heavily influenced by fresh seafood and premium cuts of meat. The intimate setting, affordable prices, and friendly service has made this restaurant one of the most popular haunts in the city.

    The Chicken Nannban is a great option for diners looking to treat themselves. Made with breaded chicken fillet deep fried to crisp perfection and flavoured with a dollop of pink radish sauce, this dish is an exciting mix of flavours. The chicken skin is light, crisp and non-greasy, while the meat is tender and juicy. Paired with the earthy richness of the sauce, it’s sure to leave you wanting for more.

    Noodle enthusiasts are sure to love the unique Champon ramen. A traditional version of the Singaporean Hokkien Mee, this recipe is made with a broth of chicken and pork bones, stringy noodles, and topped with chunks of lard, seafood, and vegetables.
